Maven is involved with a number of projects in the surrounding area.
For this project, there was notable Oak tree on the boundary of the development that required special care to be taken while upgrading Grove Road. A special housing layout was designed and no earthworks was allowed within the tree dripline. We used hydrovac to expose and locate the roots of the protected tree, minimal excavation was used and hand digging was essential, all this while under the watchful eye of the appointed arborist. Works to upgrade and widen Grove Road was completed successfully, with no damage to the protected tree.
121 Grove Road had settlement issues that we worked around by placing additional preload metal at an early stage of the settlement monitoring process with following advice from the Geotechnical Engineer to the project.
